Students in grades 9–12 are invited to experience the excitement of live music from behind the scenes as volunteers at Irving Symphony Orchestra concerts. It’s a great way to earn community service hours, meet new people, build valuable skills, and play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for concertgoers.

Be Part of the Experience

Teen volunteers help make each concert a success by welcoming patrons and providing friendly assistance throughout the evening. Opportunities may include greeting guests, distributing concert programs, scanning or collecting tickets, assisting with seating, and helping patrons find their way around the Irving Arts Center.

No previous experience is necessary! The Irving Arts Center, where the Irving Symphony Orchestra concerts are held, provides regular training for volunteers, so you’ll have the information and support you need to feel confident in your role.
